If you’re like most people, you probably use Windows 8 to do things like open files and view pictures. But there are also a lot of features that Windows 8 doesn’t have natively, like burning CDs. Here’s how to do it:
- Open the Start screen and type “cmd” (without the quotes) into the search bar. This will bring up a list of all the commands that you can use to start or stop programs.
- Type “burn” into the command line and press Enter. This will start a program called “Burning CD”.
- In the “Burning CD” window, select your media type (CD-R/RW, CD-RW+, DVD+/-R/RW). If you want to burn a bootable disk, select “Yes” when asked if you want to create one.
- Click on the “Next” button to continue burning your disc. The burning process will take some time, so be patient!
