If you’re a Windows 95 user, you know how to crash the system. But if you’re not sure how, or if you just don’t want to risk crashing your computer, here’s how:

  1. Open the Control Panel and select System Properties.
  2. In the System Properties window, click on the Advanced tab and then click on the Crash button.
  3. In the resulting crash dialog box, enter “win95” into the text field and click on OK.
  4. The computer will now crash and display a message telling you that it crashed because of “win95.”
