If you’re one of the millions of people who have Windows 10 installed on their computer, then you’re probably familiar with the Homegroup feature. Homegroup is a group of computers that are connected to each other through a shared network connection. You can create and join Homegroups on your computer by selecting the “Homegroup” icon in the taskbar and clicking on the “Create new homegroup” button. If you’ve ever used Homegroup before, then you know that it’s a great way to keep your computer organized and connected. But if you’ve been using it for a while and it’s been getting old, then it might be time to delete it. Here’s how to delete an old homegroup on Windows 10:
- Open the “Task Manager” window and click on the “Task Manager (x86)”.
- In the “Task Manager (x86)”, click on the “Processes” tab and look for “Windows 10”. If there are any processes associated with this homegroup, then they will be listed in this tab.
- Click on the “End process” button associated with this process. This will delete this process from your computer.
- Close the “Task Manager” window and reopen it if necessary. Now that all of these processes have been deleted, your computer will be free from any connections to this homegroup!
