Windows 10 is a great operating system, but it can be a little confusing to figure out how to personalize it without activation. Here are some tips to help you get started:
- Open the Start menu and type “windows personalization.” This will take you to a screen that looks like Figure 1. Figure 1: The windows personalization screen on Windows 10
- On the left side of the window, you’ll see three tabs: “Appearance,” “Taskbar and Start Menu,” and “System.” Click on the tab that corresponds with your needs. For example, if you want to change your wallpaper, click on the “Appearance” tab. If you want to add icons or pictures to your taskbar and start menu, click on the “Taskbar and Start Menu” tab. If you want to change how Windows updates are delivered, click on the “System” tab.
- Once you’ve selected what you need from each tab, click on the OK button to finish personalizedizing your Windows 10 experience.
